Program Description: The Atlanta Land Trust Collaborative (ALTC) seeks to leverage public/private investment in the Atlanta Beltline area. The goal is to create two Community Land Trusts within the next three years in Beltline neighborhoods. The ALTC uses financial mechanisms such as Deed Restrictions and Shared Appreciation Loans to preserve affordability in their housing stock.

Mission Statement: To create a favorable climate for Community Land Trust Development, leading advocacy efforts to revise and implement new local public policies favorable to Community Land Trusts. The ALTC’s role supporting the development of local CLTs is a critical component to a broad based, local government initiative to increase quality housing options for low and moderate income Atlanta families.

TA Goals: To determine market conditions, program structure and operating budget. Also to define a post-purchase stewardship program and to conduct financial analysis of target buyer income profiles.
